Apply for Selection Committee or to Attend 4th Meeting of UN Inter-agency & Expert Group on SDG Indicators in Addis Ababa (20-21 October 2016)


At the request of the UN DESA Statistics Division, UN-NGLS is facilitating an open, transparent and participatory application process to identify representatives from civil society organizations, academia and the private sector to attend the plenary session of the Fourth Meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators, taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 20-21 October 2016. Apply for the Stakeholder Selection Committee by 12 September, or apply to attend the meeting by 17 September.

IAEG-SDGs Meeting objectives:

    Finalise the initial tier system for indicators
    Establish a process for the refinement of indicators
    Review work plans for Tier III indicators
    Discuss options for those indicators that do not have a proposed custodian agency
    Review data flows from national to regional and global level and discuss best practices for the delivery of these data
